SCGP Pulverized Coal Burner For High Efficiency Syngas Production

SCGP coal burner is the critical equipment of shell coal gasification process and functions to deliver pulverized coal and oxygen and steam into the coal gasifier, which are atomized in the high temperature high pressure environment as desired by the gasification process in order to achieve high efficiency gas production. The burners are located at the lower part of the gasifier in a symmetrical way, typically 4-6 burners, which are dependent on the gasifier type and the capacity.

The pulverized coal is sprayed from the central channel by the transportation gas while the oxygen and steam is from outer circular channels. The outer shell is the cooling water jacket to cool down the burner head and enhance the heat exchange and thus extend the service life. The burner is arranged in such a way that the pulverized coal will be sprayed and tangentially fired in an opposite direction so as to improve the combustion efficiency and the syngas composition.

The SCGP burner boasts the following advantages:
